Cardiff Council - Using Stop'N'Go in Domestic Waste Collections

Cardiff Council are one of the local authorities who incorporate the Stop'N'Go range throughout their waste operations including the collection of recyclables, general waste and food waste.
Their collection rounds include bin and bag collections for which they require gloves that provide a mixture of dexterity, grip and cut protection as well as waterproof performance in the winter months.
The management of the Waste & Recycling team at Cardiff adopted the Stop'N'Go range when presented with the trial results and feedback from other users in the local authority and public sector waste collection sector such as Hackney Council and SUEZ (who trialled the Stop'N'Go range in domestic municipal collections).
They are also exploring potential savings on their overall hand protection budget when analysing the longevity vs. cost of the GO-X D cut resistant gloves.
They currently use the GO-X D Palm Coated and GO-X D Fully Coated Gloves. These gloves offer excellent cut protection, grip and dexterity, the fully coated version is also waterproof and is used throughout the winter months.
